Free DAA Spatial Reasoning test
Spatial Reasoning in the format of the Defence Aptitude Assessment: a 2D part and a 3D part, each against the clock.
- 2 parts
- 10 questions
- Timed
What Spatial Reasoning looks like
Spatial reasoning is one of the six DAA tests and has two separately timed parts (RAF). In our practice the 2D part asks you to join shapes along matching labelled edges – turning them, never flipping them – and the 3D part asks which view shows the same block of cubes from another angle.
Wrong options are usually mirror images, so check the direction of one distinctive feature first.
How this free test is set up
Five 2D and five 3D questions, each part on its own clock. Our full practice timings are 10 questions in 4 minutes (2D) and 10 in 3 minutes (3D); the services do not publish exact numbers for the real test.
This free test is being built.
