Free DAA Numerical Reasoning test
Both parts of DAA Numerical Reasoning in one short test: quick calculations first, then problem solving – with a worked answer for every question.
- 2 parts
- 12 questions
- Timed
What Numerical Reasoning looks like
Numerical reasoning is one of the six DAA tests and is split into two separately timed parts (RAF). In our practice the first part is quick calculations – percentages, fractions, times – and the second is short word problems such as speed, distance and cost.
We practise without a calculator, so mental arithmetic never slows you down. Split awkward percentages into easy ones: 15 % is 10 % plus half of that.
How this free test is set up
Six quick calculations and six problem-solving questions, each part on its own clock. Our full practice timings are 12 questions in 4 minutes and 15 questions in 11 minutes; the services do not publish exact numbers for the real test.
This free test is being built.

No sign-up, no e-mail. Original questions written in the format of the real test, with an explanation for every answer. Updated 23 October 2026.
