What the Unit 1 exam looks like
Unit 1 of the door supervisor qualification – principles of working in the private security industry – is the longest of the four multiple-choice exams: 72 questions in 110 minutes, pass mark 70 % (SIA Get Training, pages 20–22). That is about a minute and a half per question.
This free mock takes 25 questions from the Unit 1 sessions – health and safety, the law, the security industry, fire, communication, emergencies, terrorism awareness, vulnerable people and post-incident reporting – at the same pace: 38 minutes.
